New tool – projected monthly income calculator

New tool! Projected Monthly Income Calculator

I’ve created a very neat new tool to share with you.

Have you ever hated the fact that you just never know exactly how much you’ll make from your photos each month? Well, using my new PMI (projected monthly income) calculator, now you can make a very educated guess (within 2 percent accuracy).

How it works is simple. Just call up the calculator anytime, and enter your total (to date) for the month, on any of the sites. The calculator will quickly whip up what your projected monthly total will be. You can easily customize the list of agencies by adding your own to the list by tapping the last field. You can save your list and recall it, all stored safely and your data will be not be shared. Not even I can see the data you type in.

A great tool to add to your kit, try it out and let me know what you think!

Find it here:

www.arcurs.com/cal

I won’t give away the whole farm and tell you exactly how the calculator makes its determination, but I will say that it takes into account historical up days, down days, holidays, weekend stats, site specific stats and more.

So when you where reading this post: DOWN DAY – SELLING NOTHING TODAY? CHECK THE DOWN DAY LIST you now know why I was so interested in getting reports on bad days for selling stock, holidays, etc.

A great tool to add to your kit, try it out and let me know what you think!

Great job on the new calculator Yuri. It works fantastic, just one minor tweak that I might mention is the ability to set timezones. Seems as tho my time remaining in the day is in accurate for me. Thanks just thought I’d put the bug in your ear, lol. Great job and Thanks for sharing this new app.

Excellent work. Maybe we should not count “on demand’ downloads when we are projecting for Shutterstock?

I’m doing nice with XSI. Of course that better camera will give you better shots. But I’m for now more focused on lenses. My opinion that it’s better to have T1i with great lens then 5d with for example 18-55is kit lens :).
So my suggestion to focus on buying some excellent lens. Don’ t forget you don’t have to work with canon lenses, there are also many excellent M42, FD lenses on ebay. I have sold many shot done with Pentacon 1.8:50 and 2.8:135 + macro adapter rings 😉

  4. I run my own tool in Open Office, but this one is usually the more accurate predictor. Well done.
