You mentioned you used a large softbox up high and another beauty dish off to the side a bit. Is there something special about this instead of another softbox? If so, what size is recommended and at what power? There are so many to choose from unfortunately.

Thank you!

Hi Yuri, I really like your work. And wish you the best :)

You mentioned that Istock is not as good at it was. Is exklusive work on it still almost the same as working on all others?

Hi Yuri,

Just wanted you to know that I featured several photos of your model Ask in my novel, "Cloning Jesus." I downloaded them from iStockphoto, and I must say these images have added great luster to the book. Your model has now become a Basque microbiologist!

Thank you for your outstanding contribution to this project.

Hi Yuri,

Love your website lots of useful information, keep up the good work. Is it true that you employ people all the way in India to do photo retouching for your images? If so, how do you ensure that they do not steal/copy your images and use it for their own gain? How do you enforce your copyright, when your all the way in Denmark with them working in India?

Thanks

Hey Yuri, I use a monopod too. I have the Giottos Professional Carbon Monopod MM8990 with large rubber foot and quick fold foot pedal for extra support - which I find to be really good. I was wondering if you could compare it to your manfrotto one day

Paul Underdown:

Q: "how do you get all your models in such clear focus? what settings do you use to achieve this when working in a studio as you do?"

A: I use auto-focus one-spot metering. Never center evaluated or fully automatic. One spot metering and I then move around the focus spot for each frame. :)
