Great video Yuri. It’s tough to describe the intangibles. I think you did a good job. I’m really blown away by your studio setup. I hope some day you post a video tour.
I think it’s great with this new videoblog. Thanks Yuri..
And it’s nice to have such a big talent in Denmark..
Best regards,
Jacob
My primary model is legally blind, and I’ve really struggled on how to instruct her poses. The ball idea is great, but she can’t follow the ball since she can’t see that far. So what we tried was a small flashlight that is bright enough for her to see, and it worked beautifully! Thank you soooo much, Yuri!!! Problem solved!!!
Thank you , very nice video!!! I will wait the part 2.
As always, your work proves to be truly inspirational, thank you so very much for taking the time to do this videos, they will be always welcome!
Thanks for sharing. I’ve been struggling with getting the model to move her head a certain way. The “follow the hand” is a great tip! Look forward to more video’s in the future.
Brilliant! Thank you for the great tips. Looking forward to part 2!
Thank, you it really helps…
thanks!
Thank you, great video Yuri !
Best regards
Philippe
This is excellent little tutorial, here’s hoping for many more videos to come. Guiding a model can be a little tricky at times, specially with models who dont have much of experience. Practise makes perfect though
Thank You so much Yuri!
These video blogs are Great!
I see so much more than just what your explaining as in how you shoot using a monopod instead of free hand and your light set up
really cool
thank you for sharing
Thank you for these glimpses into a highly successful work methodology and fountain of “stockworthy” wisdom. Great work!
Hi Yuri
and I am sure you will be overflooded with kind thoughts from all the readers …
Thanks for always being so generous with your know-how. You get what you give
Hi Yuri. These videos are very helpful for me and I think for everybody else. There is a problem for me to watch them again. The ‘Teaser’ and the ‘Episode 1′ are “no longer available”… may be the problem is only in my computer
Thanks for the advices and the videos. I`m waiting for the next episode.
Regards
Yuri – just wanted to let you know I spotted a shot of your model here on mypoints.com

I hope part three teaches us how to get the model to sleep with the photographer. That’s the reason I got into photography in the first place, and it’s my biggest challenge to date.
That was so helpful, Yuri. Thank you very much!
I loved the bit about guiding her nose with your fingers. Setting up poses beforehand is also very helpful. Simple and straightforward, and a good plan of action.
