Applying as a model:

We have had great success getting new models from people sending us their material like you are about to. Quite a lot of the models that send us their material end up modeling for us.

We bring in about 10-15 models per year from around the world for shooting in either Cape Town or Denmark. Most of them contacted us like you are about to do. Send us a few pictures and we will promise you that your portfolio will be reviewed by our producer Cecilie

If we like what we see, we will give you a ticket and pay all expenses. New models without any references or experience have to do three shoots with us for free because the training process takes time. Contrary to what people think, modeling is not easy. After three shoots you are paid between 50-100USD per hour. To give yourself the best chance of success, be sure to follow the advice below.

What pictures to send. 

Sometimes models will send us pictures of them self that are too blurred or out of focus and we cannot really see their face. Don’t do this, because you are not giving us anything to evaluate. We need at least three types of images:

We have to be able to see your face clearly from both front and from the side. You do not have to send us shots from a studio. Normal shots are fine as long as we can judge how you look

We have to see you smile. A good smile is essential to making a good career in modeling. We must see your full fledged smile – no way around it!!!

We have to be able to see your body. This does not mean bikini or underwear if you don’t like this. Just normal cloths, but a full-body shot is required.

Tell us a little about yourself when you send in your shots!

Tell us about yourself, your age, your job or education and your experience in the field of photography or video. Tell us where you are from, what languages you speak and any special talents such as athletics, ballet, sports etc.

Myths and what we are looking for. 

You do not have to be tall or skinny. You do not have to be young. Old people are very very welcome.

We are looking for

• Aspiring as well as established Models in all ages and sizes

We are also looking for

• A good smile or a character look.
• Cute kids and babies
• Whole families, expecially ethnic families
• Real Couples so kissing/being close is fine
• People with special talents. Dancing, sports, acting experience etc.
• People with beautiful bodies or body parts: legs, hands, breasts, pregnant stomachs, sixpacks. If you got it, show it!

A good and charming smile is much more important. Acting experience is important even though it is “only” pictures, and if you don’t have any experience in this field it is important that you want to learn it. We will teach you everything you need to know and take good care of you but you must be willing to learn.

About nudity: We hardly do any nude shoots, but if you have an especially beautiful body and wish to include this kind of work in your repertoire then make sure to include nude pictures in your application. You should know that all material sent to us is treated with the out most respect and is never shown to anyone inappropriate.

All our models have to sign an international model release or we will not be allowed to use our images commercially.

We collaborate with two other agencies. If you become a model with us you are very likely to get offered to be represented by www.inqmodels.com and www.fullcirclemodel.com as well as www.peopleimages.com

Some days later I found myself writing an email and asking to become a model, I followed the guidelines for new models, although I did not really believe in getting a result from that – Ok, I have a nice smile and I am a natural type, but..

I got a reply the next day and was basically invited to Denmark immediately, everything paid for. It toke a few months of finding the right time for a visit and making sure that everything was clarified, but soon I was on my way.
